Information Security Analyst
Job Summary: The Information Security Analyst provides technical support and operational expertise to strengthen Great Wolf's cybersecurity posture. This role manages security tools, monitors threats, responds to incidents, and supports vulnerability management activities. The successful candidate works independently with minimal supervision, demonstrates strong technical competency, and collaborates with IT operations and business teams to identify and mitigate security risks. This individual contributor role bridges security strategy and day-to-day operational execution, ensuring effective implementation of the information security program across Great Wolf.
Responsibilities:
Work with Great Wolf InfoSec manager to administer and maintain security tools including endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM), network security tools, application allow-listing, and identity and access management (IAM) platforms
- Train and coordinate with Lodge IT resources for supplemental administrative activities when and where needed across the security stack
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot security tools and services; ensure proper integration across the security stack
- Monitor security tool alerts and dashboards; investigate anomalies and escalate findings to leadership
- Respond to security incidents including detection, triage, containment, and recovery; document all incident activities and outcomes
- Analyze and interpret security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence; identify patterns and trends to inform incident response and prevention strategies
- Track vulnerability remediation efforts, validate fixes, and coordinate with Lodge IT personnel for any troubleshooting
- Assist with patch management activities and validate security updates across infrastructure and endpoints
- Collaborate with IT operations teams on security implementations, deployments, and integrations
- Maintain detailed records of security activities within Monday.com software
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Three or more years of hands-on information security experience, including security monitoring, incident response, or security operations
- Demonstrated experience administering or supporting security tools such as EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewall management platforms, mobile device management (MDM), and mobile application management (MAM). UEM experience preferred
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST, CIS Controls, or COBIT; understanding of PCI DSS compliance preferred
- Ability to read and interpret security logs, event data, and technical alerts
- Communicate security issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at Corporate and Lodge locations
- Understanding of common network and system vulnerabilities; experience with vulnerability assessment tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
Preferred:
- Hospitality experience is a strong plus
- Industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or ECIH preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 20 lbs., sit and/or stand long periods.
($80,000 - $100,000) annual base salary
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
